OK, this stuff is scary… like someone’s been inside my brain hearing my aural fantasies… and then made them real. I’ll be figuring out things to do with all these plugins for years.

I absolutely love my options while using Goodhertz plugins. I love adding some grit to a sample using Lossy and Wow Control to give it some serious character. Goodhertz gives me every color in the coloring box.

I use Vulf Compressor on pretty much every song I make. I love it for bass, drums, guitar, and keys in particular. It brings out a particular warmness that I have not found in any other compression. It makes everything so much more buttery and old-school without diminishing the quality of sound. I love to use the Lohi plugin on backup vocals. I use the “tiney” setting often to create a distant and whispery atmosphere. I also use Lohi on drums, sometimes for a more muted and understated drum sound, which I like for certain ambient-style tracks. Goodhertz makes some of my favorite plugins! They truly elevate the sounds to the next level.

Goodhertz is giving engineers tools they need in the modern age. There’s so much character built into these plugins. Vulf Compressor is amazing at warming up really cold, digital feeling recordings. I can’t count how many times Goodhertz has saved me.

Goodhertz is easily one of my favorite plug-in designers these days as they make high fidelity audio inspiring. The look and feel of their plug-ins is also easy and refreshing, with flat colors on a white background. There are no knobs to “turn” with a mouse – just simple slider controls that change the percentage of each parameter.
