CanOpener takes a great pair of headphones and makes them translate to speakers even better by introducing a little bit of crossfeed. What I like about Goodhertz take on this type of utility is they don’t introduce any type of correction or IR room simulation which has never worked for me.

Apart from how insanely good all of these plugins sound, the GUIs are also some of the most intuitive and logical out there right now. It’s the future.

OK, this stuff is scary… like someone’s been inside my brain hearing my aural fantasies… and then made them real. I’ll be figuring out things to do with all these plugins for years.

Man. Where do I begin? This stuff allows me to do everything in the box, stuff that used to take four times as long as it needed to, like bouncing my projects through the SP404 or tape machine. Your plugins allow same (or better!) analog veneer without me having to lose control of my mix by forever printing it to tape or recording it as a chunky WAV from a sampler. I couldn’t be more impressed. I’m actually proud to use this stuff.

Goodhertz is easily one of my favorite plug-in designers these days as they make high fidelity audio inspiring. The look and feel of their plug-ins is also easy and refreshing, with flat colors on a white background. There are no knobs to “turn” with a mouse – just simple slider controls that change the percentage of each parameter.
